ProTruck: 40% optimisation

ProTruck has seen a lot of optimisation since the company replaced paper with REEFTmobile. It has made life easier for the service engineers, and invoices are sent out much sooner.

– We’d need another two employees if we hadn’t stopped using paper.

That is the clear message from Gitte Laursen, head of administration at ProTruck, on the effect of introducing REEFTmobile.

ProTruck is a modern company providing solutions for internal transportation such as fork lift trucks. Since the company was established four years ago, it has grown to count 50 employees, and ProTruck’s service department uses REEFTmobile when they service their customers.

Earlier, the 20 service personnel in the field filled in papers at the customer’s place and only handed in papers to ProTruck’s finance department once a week. However, today the service sheets are in the system as soon as they have been filled in at the customer’s location.

All our service managers and engineers have an iPad in their vehicles, and the very moment they key the info into REEFTmobile, there is an electronic version that everyone can see. The service employees do not have to keep track of the papers or come by the office every week, and in the finance department they can see right away what needs to be invoiced and start invoicing much sooner, says Gitte Laursen and adds:

“Generally speaking, we’ve optimised a lot of processes by 40 percent by moving from paper to REEFTmobile, and if hadn’t, we’d need two more employees.”

REEFTmobile also helps the customers

ProTruck’s service department helps customers with service checks and statutory control of machines. This is why REEFTmobile has also benefited their customers, who can now get their statutory inspection faster thanks to the system.

At the same time, we avoid misunderstandings during service checks when the time spent is registered right away, including the notes for each visit, and any orders for spare parts. We’re very happy that we decided to introduce REEFTmobile, says Gitte Laursen.

ProTruck uses REEFTmobile’s standard product – for the reasons listed above, but also because it has a very simple interface that the company’s service engineers are very happy with.
